The veil is a rather difficult problem. The Quran calls them actually not directly, but the New Testament (1st Corinthians 11 / 6.)
If a woman wears a headscarf, should they leave it the same hair cut. But is it a disgrace for a woman to cut her hair or shave to leave, then she should cover it.
It is obvious that is a symbol of the deprivation and depersonalization of women in fundamentalist countries in the face veil. It is striking that in some cities, the Muslim woman as a person in the city occurs. She is forced back into the private sector, and therefore plays little role in public life.
A similar problem arises at school: girls are excluded from physical education and school sports days.
I doubt that the face veil is voluntary. There is a great social and family pressure is on young girls. Confessions to this effect I think for self-deception. If they take the veil, the girls open up with subtle repression and sometimes even to expect violence. Anyway, they have their freedom restricted by the strong, even in their personal rights, since they are not perceived as persons are excluded from many things through the veil.

principle should be banned in public institutions (schools, universities, courtrooms, offices, etc.) all religious symbols: crosses, the face veil, or whatever. In the private sector and in other contexts can hardly do anything useful be done about it, except maybe put on education.
disguise should be allowed, as the face veil makes a person a non-person. His face makes him only a social factor and the unique person, a prerequisite for active participation in society!
