Heunburg this year was the play "
Holy Land" by Mohamed Kacimi
on the program. It was upsetting and exciting at the same time. It is of life in the chaos
from
political madness, of prejudice
s and mutual recrimination
en,
of self-righteousness and hatred. And that
chauvinist sized
honor more important than a child's life, and petty of a God who cares about the consumption of arrack
: all else is obviously beside the point. The only way out seems to be the alcohol or the death. Only the so-called
whore creates the jump in time.
