Actually we wanted to look in Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park and in a few ol stones. This unfortunately never happened. On the trip to Kamphaeng Phet Andreas got a fever. We had again malaria in mind. But far from it. The doctor told us it is a weak form of dengue fever. So 3 days and nights in the hotel room until it rumgedrueckt Andreas somewhat better off and we were able to travel further.
The first day of illness was the worst. Bone pain like hell and fever to go. On the eve of our next trip for the first time Andrew has put his nose in front of a hotel room and we made a walk along the river bank. It passed by a public fitness park. If it were not possible in Germany. Either the devices would stolen or destroyed. Not here. Even the free weights are nice and clean the equipment. We are thrilled to circumstances.
Andreas has survived the bus ride to Ayuthaya quite well. He is doing much better. The first day it was only a short walk through the city but very busy.
The second day was devoted to the stones. Instead we have rented a few bikes. With a Combination ticket, we were able to visit six temples.
The Kingdom of Ayutthaya was a Thai kingdom , which existed from 1351 to 1767. Koenig Ramathibodi I . founded his on 4 March 1351 Ayutthaya as the capital of his new kingdom. In the following four centuries, it is getting larger to the nation of Siam whose boundaries correspond almost to those of present-day Thailand.
Particularly impressive was the Wihaan Mongkhon Bophit. It contains a 16 meter high statue of Bhudda bronze, which went gold. After 4 hours, Andrew was then at the end and we are back to the hotel. Fever has also made wide again.
